Dr_Kimball

Doug Kimball, O.D.

Dr. Doug Kimball graduated from Chester High School and received his undergraduate degree from Montana State University. He attended Southern California College of Optometry and received his doctorate in 1991.

After two years of solo practice in Bozeman, Dr. Kimball joined Advanced EyeCare Associates in 1994. Since returning to Bozeman, Dr. Kimball has been active in the community. Past services include the Gallatin Empire Lions Club, Prevent Child Abuse, as well as serving as the past president of the MSU Athletic Scholarship Association, Riverside Country Club, and Montana Optometric Association. Dr. Kimball was awarded the Young Optometrist of the Year award in 2001 and the Optometrist of the Year award in 2015.

Away from work, he is an avid golfer and Bobcat fan, and enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Kimball and his wife, Tracy, have two daughters, Kasey and Sydney.

Dr_Fink

Jody Fink, O.D.

Dr. Jody Fink is a Montana native who grew up in Helena. She graduated from Montana State University – Bozeman with degrees in Biology and Biochemistry. Dr. Fink attended the New England College of Optometry in Boston, graduating with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 2005.

Licensed in both Wyoming and Montana, she began her career at a rural Wyoming practice. While in Wyoming, she gained experience in ocular trauma and specialty contact lens fittings. During her two years in Wyoming, she built a loyal patient base and enjoyed working with each of her patients.

Returning to Montana, Dr. Fink joined Advanced EyeCare Associates in October of 2007, and she is currently working in both the Belgrade and Bozeman offices. She provides primary care optometry as well as contact lens evaluations. Dr. Fink enjoys working with children and has increased pediatric services at Advanced EyeCare Associates.

In her free time, she can be found enjoying the diverse outdoor activities the area has to offer, some of which include skiing, hiking, fly fishing, local area athletics, and following her husband's competition BBQ quest. Dr. Fink enjoys volunteering her time to community resources and events. She is a long-standing and annual volunteer with both Homeless Connect and the Gallatin County Health Screenings, and she provides educational presentations regarding vision therapy and pediatric vision to community groups. Since beginning with Advanced EyeCare Associates, her pediatric specialty has become even more important, as she and her husband, Steve, have added two children to their family!

Dr_Harper

Jennipher Harper, O.D.

Dr. Jennipher Harper was born and raised in Helena, MT and has always had family ties in Bozeman. She received her doctorate in 2012 from Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon and has a Bio Medical degree from Montana State University. Dr. Harper has a special interest in ocular disease and a strong interest and extensive experience working with contact lenses. She loves practicing and living in the healthy, active environment that her home state of Montana offers.

Dr. Harper and her family spend the majority of their free time enjoying that vast outdoor recreation around Bozeman. Along with her husband and 2 young children, they can often be found skiing Bridger Bowl, mountain biking, hiking, or exploring the rivers, usually with a Labrador in tow. Her passion for her profession and Montana have created a strong commitment to the community, and Dr. Harper looks forward to creating long-lasting relationships through exemplary patient care and strong volunteer involvement.

Dr_Todd

Tel Todd, O.D.

Dr. Tel Todd was born and raised on a fifth-generation dairy farm west of Bozeman. After graduating from Bozeman High School, he attended Minnesota State University, where he studied Human Biology and Chemistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning Academic All-American honors as a member of the wrestling team. Dr. Todd attended Pacific University College of Optometry, graduating with honors in 2017. His training included clinical rotations with Indian Health Service, the United States Air Force, an OD/MD private practice, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Desiring to take his education and training further, Dr. Todd was selected for a hospital-based ocular disease residency on the Navajo Reservation in Shiprock, NM. He has extensive training in primary eye care, particularly medical and emergency ocular needs. Residency gave him experience managing complex disease cases and co-managing patients with other medical specialties.

Dr. Todd is excited to be back home in Montana providing patient-focused and comprehensive eye care, while developing lasting relationships with the community that his family has been a part of since 1879.

Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebekah, who also grew up in Bozeman, and their children. The Todds live on their family farm, appreciating the wonderful setting Southwest Montana has to offer. Dr. Todd is an avid outdoorsman; a favorite past time of his is fishing mountain lakes. He looks forward to reconnecting with old friends and making new ones while serving the community inside and outside of the clinic.

Dr_Kirkpatrick

Sarah Kirkpatrick, O.D., F.A.A.O.

At a young age, Dr. Sarah Kirkpatrick was inspired to become an optometrist by her father, who practices in her hometown of Madison, Indiana. Dr. Kirkpatrick completed her undergraduate studies at Indiana University in 2003 and obtained her Doctorate from Indiana School of Optometry in 2007. During her time at IU, Dr. Kirkpatrick quickly realized her passion for not only treating and managing ocular disease, but also educating on the importance of early detection and prevention of many eye conditions.

Dr. Kirkpatrick went on to complete a residency at the world renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL. During her residency she obtained training in areas of glaucoma, macular degeneration, ocular infection and trauma, and dry eye syndrome. In 2009, Dr. Sarah Kirkpatrick received her Fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry. She is an active participant in the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, and Montana Optometric Association.

Dr. Sarah Kirkpatrick called Bozeman home in 2009, after numerous visits to see her sister Dr. Jessica Kirkpatrick, a local veterinarian. Since her move out west, Dr. Kirkpatrick has enjoyed becoming part of the Bozeman community. She has been involved with local non-profits such as Haven, Thrive, Cancer Support Community, and BYEP. Outside of eye care, she enjoys trail running, rock climbing, yoga, and skiing. Sarah has a passion for food & wine, her husband owns PLONK & J.W. Heist Steakhouse.

Dr. Sarah Kirkpatrick is thrilled to join the team at Advanced Eyecare where she values the importance of compassionate listening and will continue to provide exceptional, comprehensive eye care through the use of advanced technology and innovative ophthalmic procedures.

LeMay_

Joseph LeMay, O.D.

Dr. Joseph LeMay is a family practice optometrist who was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Physiology from Middle Tennessee State University before attending Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. LeMay completed clinical rotations at the White Earth Health Center in Ogema, MN. He then attended an ocular disease management clinic in Weston, WI, as well as a student fellowship program with the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. LeMay practices full-scope eye care, including contact lens fitting, ocular disease management, and pediatrics, with a special focus on dry eye disease management. Having previously practiced in Butte, Dr. LeMay is proud to make the Gallatin Valley his home and is dedicated to offering compassionate, comprehensive eye care to each and every patient.

Away from work, Dr. LeMay may be found hiking a local trail, swimming with his dogs at the lake, or cooking at home with his wife, Arianna.
