Established in 1974, our optometry practice has been a trusted name in Gallatin Valley for over 40 years. We’ve built strong community ties, proudly supporting local charities, schools, sports teams, food banks, and Montana State University. Our Story
Originally founded by Dr. Jim Williams and Dr. Bob Hawks in Bozeman, we expanded in 1990 to open a second location in Belgrade. In 1997, we incorporated the Optical House into our Bozeman office, growing our reach and services. Today, we operate with 6 experienced optometrists across 2 locations, providing high-quality family eye care in Montana.
Meet Our Team
Our dedicated team of optometrists in Montana includes Dr. Doug Kimball, Dr. Jody Fink, Dr. Jenny Harper, Dr. Tel Todd, Dr. Sarah Kirkpatrick, and Dr. Joseph LeMay. Each of our doctors specializes in full-scope optometry, from treating eye diseases to fitting specialty contact lenses.
We’re also fortunate to be supported by two COOs, Steve Coffman in Bozeman and Brittni Hopkins in Belgrade, along with 35 highly trained staff members who ensure the smooth operation of both locations.

Meet Our Staff
Steve Coffman
Steve Coffman, our Operations Manager for our Bozeman location, has lived in Bozeman for the past 30 years but hails from Wyoming.
He attended Montana State University graduating with a Business degree. After a few years living in Seattle he and his wife, Allison, moved back to Bozeman. Previously he worked for 10 years at Northwestern Mutual in the same capacity. Before that they owned and operated Charlie’s Deli & Bennigan’s Bar & Grill. They have 3 children and are a true “house divided” with one graduating from MSU, one graduating from UM and the youngest attending UM.
In his free time he loves hunting, fishing, hiking, the Las Vegas Raiders, hanging out with friends and familey and all things Bobcats!
Brittni Hopkins
Brittni Hopkins, Operational Manager for our Belgrade Location. Brittni was born and raised in Montana and has been with Advanced Eyecare Associates for the last 3.5 years.
Brittni is both ABO and CPOA certified making her extremely proficient in her work.
In her spare time, Brittni enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, and hiking.
